produced and styled by j.jeyanathan (myself)

My name is Janna Jeyanathan, I currently reside and study in Montreal while also pursuing work in Calgary and Toronto. I am certified in a multitude of human sciences courses, media/arts trained and have certification in petroleum administration. I would describe myself as a scholar foremost who has traveled the corners of the earth in search of answers.

There are way too many definitions for the word chromatic if you ask me..…

However my reference is entirely to colour which alludes to, chromatic colours with varying hues. I also dubbed it chromatique en français for the title of the blog because…

1) I love saying it, something like this: crow-mah-teeek (heh heh.. )

2) My years of learning the French language, history and of course the art.

So much of French history has inspired me to chase and create my own work. Not to mention endless art, fashion, food, film to be inspired by until the end of time. Being born and living in any part of Canada is a privilege I cherish. It was the first country I truly explored and my forever home.

Chromatics Colours:

Chromatics are defined by red, blue or yellow hues. A chromatic colour is one with even a slightest amount of ones of these hues. I live for rich saturated tones, and have studied colour theory for my own skin tone. I am classified a deep winter in colour theory—thus I gravitate to cooler toned chromatics in my own personal style.

The colours that remain are outside of the chromatics are white, black, and grey—achromatic colours. They have zero hue. On a colour scale their wavelengths are equal with no levels of varying hues or tones.

My work always conveys something within me.

This space is something that was created to catalogue and display my work, whether it be my visual arts, sports photography, pageantry—I aim to convey my style in all these arenas. This portfolio will continue to grow with additional up coming projects.
